The first important thing would be to read the chapters one at a time and underline the important points. Make sure you understand each topic before you move on to another. Once you finish reading the first chapter, read through the important points you have underlined once more and then do exercise questions provided in the textbook. Then move on to the second chapter and after you finish that then the third.

Then finally go through all the three chapters important points once again and you should be thorough with the chapters now.

Always remember it is more important to study understanding the content rather than reading through it just for the sake of finishing more chapterrs.
