When hot metallic ball or any hot object is poured in cold water, the hot particles of the objects jumps into cold water which brings the reaction of Turing cold water by heating up by hot particles  and cooling down the hot object.

Here, the particle of hot object gets into cold water which heats up cols water and as the object lost its particles, it loses its energy
