Aeronautical Engineering scope in India is high because of the aviation sector that is growing fastest. India is the third largest civil aviation market in the world. Aeronautical Engineering scope in India in the future is one of the most challenging fields with a wide scope of growth. Aeronautical Engineers are dealing with the development of new technologies in the field of the aviation sector.

The work of Aeronautical Engineering is a combination of the art and the science that is study, design, construct, manufacture, and test the aircraft and the entire flying vehicle within the Earth's atmosphere. The work of Aeronautical Engineers manufactures all the electrical, electronic, and mechanical parts of the aircraft.

Aeronautical Engineering scope and salary in India is still in the developing of the stage. There is a good career option for the students. After B Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, you can work with the ISRO, NASA, DRDO, HAL, NAL, MRO, etc. and the salary pay scale for the Aeronautical Engineer is too good. Aeronautical Engineer’s average salary package is approx. 6 to 10 lakh per annum in India. In abroad the salary is much more than this.

Hello Aspirant,

Aerospace engineering is a specialisation which is taken by very few people.

As it's took by few people than the competition is also comparatively less.

Also, in current scenario there aren't enough opportunities in the field but if we predict future, it's going to be amazing. Also if we talk about the same course in US or europian union, it's very demanding and people involved in it are making good money and maximum jobs are offered my military.

So if you are keenly interested in the Aerospace engineering than you can definitely choose this specialisation because if you will be having skils, no matter market is low or high, you are going to make good money out of it.

Also it's one of the emerging market in India and have a huge potential so you can choose this specialisation.
