The mechanical engineering department at techno salt lake campus is not so good. The faculties are also not good. Most of them don't know the correct ways to teach. And according to previous year placements no core companies visit for placements in the college. Students have to settle in IT based companies such as TCS. The placement is same for mechanical and civil branches.
