The top 20 percentile marks required for JOSAA counselling in 2025 were officially released on June 10, 2025. These percentages are based on Class 12 results from various boards.

However, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has not yet submitted its top 20 percentile data. This means students from Telangana may need to provide a board-issued certificate confirming they fall within the top 20 percent of their class. If that certificate isn't available, JOSAA will use the CBSE board’s top 20 percentile marks as a default.

In simple words, the data is out, but Telangana board hasn’t shared its numbers yet. If you're from Telangana, be ready to get that certificate from your board before participating in JOSAA counselling.
