Hi Vivek,

Article 370 was a part of the Indian Constitution which granted special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was a special provision given to them owing to the disputes it continuously goes through. However, this provision was temporary and recently, the Parliament has passed a bill to abolish Article 370 and also made the state into two union territories- J & K as well as Ladakh. This has many positive and negative consequences.
