Not many colleges support you when you go to camps. For example, you are attempting for the Republic day camp, (duration is close to 5months in Karnataka &Goa Dte). You may have to miss a semester, you may have to skip a year if your college is doesn't give equal importance to NCC.

I am a Christite, I completed my TSC in 2014 and continuously completed RDC in 2015. I was away from my college for almost 8 months which is pretty much a year of my college life. But the management gave me re-exams to cope with the academic. Since the Christ management supported well, I achieved what I wanted in both academics and NCC.
