Correct Answer: 4


Solution : An average of 8 numbers = 18
So, the sum of the 8 numbers = 8 × 18 = 144 
If one number is excluded, then 
the sum of the 7 numbers = 7 × 20 = 140
Excluded number = 144 – 140 = 4
Hence, the correct answer is 4.
