Hi Karthik,

Work done in motion of charge, W = eV

Work will get converted into kinetic energy i.e. KE = W

= 1/2*m(v^2 - u^2) = eV

= 1/2*m*v^2 = eV

=  v^2 = 2eV/m

= v = root(2eV/m)
