The Resultant of two forces when they act at the right angle is 10N . Whereas when they act at an angle of 60° the resultant is √148.Determine the magnitude of two forces.

Dear aspirant,

First of all you need to read the question properly and work step by step accordingly. You need to form two equations and solve simultaneously. Let the force be F1 and F2. So in first case F1+ F2 = 10 and in second case F1+F2+2 F1F2 cos60= √148. Then substitute F1 = 10-F2 in second equation.
