see you can not take physics unless you are in science stream, however students who are in para science group in 12th course may take humanities, accounting, mathematics, biology , chemistry subjects. in physics applications of mathematics and chemistry knowledge is needed,  thats why  to study physics as a subject you must be in core science department.
