Hi Aspirant,
It will not create you any problems.
The only requirement is that you are eligible for JEE Mains and admissions corresponding to it after 12th for 3 consecutive years and you have to score 75% or top 20 percentile in your 12th.

in case of your gap it matters with only age Limit if your  date of birth falls on or after 1st October, 1994 (for general and OBC candidate) are eligible to apply.then you can definately apply

It won't matter at the of your college admissions but surely it'll affect you at the time of placement drives. You'll need to provide a proper justification for you gap in your placement drive in future.
