11th and 12th class are base for all the entrance exam. If you want to prepare for engineering or  medical entrance exam  syllabus is based your 11th and 12th only. If your basics are clear you can crack any exam easily.

If you are appearing for any entrance exam you can prepare for your boards and entrance exam side by side.

Hi

I would suggest you to not go with what's going in the market. It is said to start practising as early as possible so that you get ample time to study and practice. Your preparation completely depends on your understanding and clarity of concepts.

I would recommend you to study whatever you are being taught at present, with concept clarity.

If your concepts will be clear and sorted, your preparation will be better and smooth.

All the best!

In my own experience when i was in 11th i hardly gave attention towards chemistry and later in 12th i faced a lot of problems because only physical chemistry is a different topic which can be understood very easily but both inorganic and organic have fundamentals in 11th class
So concentrate on chemistry
