Totally depends on your university. But what I can guide you personally is even if you finish a single language like C, Java or some basic like this one, you will be able to face other languages easily too. Just the syntax changes, the logic remains same. So that's my personal guidance. So don't fear any language, and do competitive programming as much as you can, so that you survive better in the world of tomorrow.

Dear aspirant,

If you are asking this for the school level, then certainly there are subjects which focus on one of the either two languages you have mentioned. Python has become really popular and is included in CBSE.

You can ask your seniors or your teachers about which language they are going to teach.
