It is possible that the name mismatch to create problems during the JEE Main registration, document verification, and counselling process. NTA is quite strict about data consistency, and your details must match exactly. It would be better if you apply to correct the name as soon as possible at a Permanent Aadhaar Seva Kendra, or you could prepare a legal affidavit as a temporary solution.

No, this usually does NOT create a big problem during JEE Mains verification. Minor differences in a parent’s name (like surname missing or added) are common and generally accepted. Your own details (your name, DOB, photo, signature) matter more for verification. As long as your father’s name is identifiable and not completely different, NTA normally accepts it. Carry both Aadhaar cards and your 10th mark sheet as supporting documents if ever asked. So this will not create any problem.
