Hello aspirant, 

I'll suggest you to go for the counselling and make sure you are physically present because they are many processes where your opinion would matter that time, moreover it's your responsibility that you know things and procedures of the college. 

Still if due to any serious situation if you are not able to go, you will have to send your parents for the same.
