Hello student if the students can convince the administration department about the same then its okay. But Genrally he should ignore this and make an affidavit from his respected authority.

MD and Mohammad is not very different for us but the administration which checks  documents physically its their job/duty to to look out for errors and find them  in your certificates so it's better to be aware.
