Here are some of the preparation strategies and study tips which might be helpful for you during your preparations-

1. The first thing which you should do is to get the the brief timetable of both these examinations and mark the common chapters and topics which you need to prepare at first so that it will be beneficial for or both your preparations at the same time.

2. Once you are done with the common chapters and topics you need to go to the previous year papers and find out the statistics regarding the most probable chapters which are frequently asked in previous year examinations.

3. Make a schedule of giving mock examinations of both topic wise as well as full syllabus, so that you would find a correct strategy for attempting questions in the real paper.

4. Analyse each examination as the real test, so that it did not feel the pressure of examination on the D-Day.

5. It would be much better if you already go through the previous year records of your interested colleges, so that you can get a rough overview of what's the the approximate score you need to get in order to enter your dream college or university.
