These seats are distributed across different types of institutions as follows:

University Departments and Colleges: 8 seats

Govt. & Govt. Aided Colleges: 34 seats

Self-financing Colleges: 108 seats

Therefore, the 150 seats under the Ex-Servicemen quota are allotted across University Departments and Colleges, Govt. & Govt. Aided Colleges, and self-financing Colleges participating in TNEA 2025 counselling.

Note: The TNEA 2025 counselling process, including the allocation of these special category seats, is conducted online. Candidates who applied under this quota will find information about their specific seat allotment after the counselling rounds are completed. The TNEA rank list, which is crucial for seat allotment, was released on June 27, 2025. The counselling for special categories, including Ex-Servicemen's wards, is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
