I would like to tell you that if one is aiming for the government colleges then one has to get high marks/ very good rank.
If you consider getting into any IIT/NIT that are government colleges then you must have any rank below 20,000 AIR to be safe and this number changes as per your desired branch as well.
So if you want a good stream like computers then you will have to bring even a better rank.

Ther is no comfirmation on the cut off ranks for most of the college ypu might have to wait for the declared result in april 2019.
for the timing you can go through the previous year cut off of the colleges of your choice.
