It is very difficult to predict the required percentile as Cutoffs fluctuates every year. But, for a female, General category candidate you must score 96-99 percentile to secure a seat in popular NITs like NITs Trichy.

But if you are willing to take admission in your hometown then you can avail the reservation facility, under HS category but even to take admission under HS category you have to score somewhere between 90-95 percentile.

CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) is the most popular course among the aspirants, hence Cutoff always goes higher.
