There are approximately 4000 MBBS seats in Tamilnadu both from Government and Private Medical Colleges. Now 85% of seats in Government Medical Colleges is for State Counselling and the rest 15% is for All India Counselling. Now there is a certain Government Quota in every Private Medical College. It is approximately 60%. And these will be filled through State Counselling along. There is no concept of any free Medical seat.
