UGEE is conducted to avail admission at IIIT Hyderabad for BTech programs.

the exam question paper consists of two parts, section 1 comprises of the subject proficiency test and the section 2 consists of research aptitude test. The subjects for these tests are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of CBSE 11 and 12 standard portions.

The examination is conducted with the help of computers and the answers are objective.
