Uranium is a naturally radio active element. Its nucleus is unstable rendering it to constantly seek arrangement to prevent decay. So in other words, Uranium is a dense, silvery white, paramagnetic radio active metal. So uranium is not a non metal. Uranium is an actinide metal.
