want to enquire about B Tech Biotechnology options after PCB 12th

Hello Jyoti,

It really depends on the college. Some college’s ask for maths whereas in some, maths is optional in eligibility criteria. One can opt for the course if you are ready to take up the following challenges.

  • It is more of a technical line/engineering line.
  • You have to learn basic C and other programming languages.
  • And yes you have to learn some of the +2 level maths too (at least in first 2–3 semesters), which as a biology student is real headache.
  • Vast curriculum.

Conclusion: Don’t take up course if you are not confident enough or take up subjects you don’t have any base on otherwise you will be stuck with the backlogs.
