Hello.
ESE exam stand s for engineering service exam it includes IES exam (Indian Engineering Services), this exam include government engineering post at high post assigned to Class 1 which may be under railway engineering, power telecommunications, central water engineering, etc.
This exam can be given by the candidates of branch:

Civil engineering
electronics and telecommunication engineering
mechanical engineering
Electrical engineering.
