Most of the questions came from NCERT and the exam was relatively easier when compared to 2019. Candidates felt that Physics was a tad tough than Biology and Chemistry. In Physics, 17 MCQs came from 11th syllabus and the rest came from 12th topics. In Chemistry, 25 questions were quite easy. 16 MCQs came from Physical Chemistry, 15 from Inorganic Chemistry and the rest from Organic Chemistry. Biology section had 48 MCQs from 11th syllabus and the remaining from 12th syllabus.

According to experts, the NEET 2019 question paper was easy. Students who wrote the examination found the Biology section time-consuming. Physics and Chemistry were not lengthy but were of a moderate difficulty level. NEET 2019 paper had 24 codes, whereas the one in 2018 had 20.  NEET 2020 physics section is considered the toughest amongst all the sections. Aspirants need to crack conceptual based and tricky questions in the exam.
