Hello,

Yes, of course.You will need caste certificate if you belong to any category other than General and you will need income certificate if you will apply as EWS or any reserved category.But , if you will apply as General category then you will not require any of these.

Yes ofcourse you can apply for any college or university without needing a caste or income certificate. These certificate are required only in those cases where a candidate want to get a seat in college against some kind of reservation for which that seat is reserved. For all general seat you don't any of them. What you will be needing is your class 12 certificate
