55.71 percentile means that 55.71 percent of the total students who appeared for the examination are behind you. However you cannot calculate marks using the percentile score. If you want to know the marks then you have to match the answers that you marked with the official answer key released by the NTA on their official website. Add +4 marks for correct answer, -1 marks for incorrect answer and 0 marks for unattempted questions.
