Cost is not the primary factor in making a good career from engineering. TO make a good career you need to get in a college with good placements, all the basic facilities, good faculties, good alumni network, etc. And above that you have to put in a lot of hard work to make  a good career in engineering as the jobs are limited and the competition is fierce.
