The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students studying in the post-matric or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

The OBC candidates belonging to one state but pursuing the course in another state are awarded scholarship by competing authorities in that state.

Scholarship award will be sanctioned in the case of students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2,50,000 per annum.
