As per the reviews by most students studying in National Institute of Engineering (Mysore) the college doesn't conduct extracurricular activities. The clubs are there but they are not that great, however two or three clubs are active. The events and fests are conducted every year and are quite good.

Here are some of the good point about national institute of engineering mysore

1. Teachers are experienced in subjects. They CAN teach well and make class interesting.

2.. CGPA. Considered only during placements. Rest of the time no one gives a damn about it.

3. Good infrastructure in labs. Some of the labs have high speed internet and high end systems.

4. Library : Its like a heaven for nerds. You almost find every book there, but not a seat to sit during exam time :D

5. Many opportunity for extra-curricular activities.

6. Good placements.
