Hello Himanshu,

After you have completed the degree in BTech in Mechanical engineering, you can either apply for jobs or you can opt for higher studies (MTech). Mechanical engineering is a core branch and there are quite lots of opportunities available for the students in this field. You can also apply for Govt jobs like ISRO, BSRC, ESE etc. Also, if you want to pursue higher studies, you have to answer an entrance exam called GATE, based on which admissions will be given.
