Skills are of two type technical skill and soft skills. In skill assessment, you are tested for both the skill technical skill tests if you are capable of the job you have applied for like if you have applied for a database manager they will test how fast and well you manage it and get things done. Soft skills are communication skills, time management, self-motivated,team work, dedication, decision making and quick learning.

In colleges mostly you are asked for why do you want to join the course you are opting for and why do you opted for the college and some subject related topics and mostly the soft skills. Try to enhance your soft skills and you will get through most interviews.
