The History of Architecture by Banister Fletcher. It is a BIBLE for every architect and is treasures life-long. Its very difficult find it in 2nd hand book store and if you find it in 2nd hand, its definitely a fool who would have sold it. It talks historic buildings and its details with hand-drawn detailed sketches explaining all detailing.
