To take admission in NID, you need to give DAT exams (prelims and mains) and then you'll be selected for studio test and interview round. As fas as I remember, to get admission in NID you'll need to get a score of 55% for a person from OBC category. It changes every year so you'll need to check their website. But I will suggest to aim higher than to be on the safer side. Whereas you give CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test) exams to get into NIFT. Since, they have campuses all around India, each campus gives out their cut off list for various courses. If you want to know more about NIFT, tell me your preferable campus and course.
