congratulation on your gate score. your score is good for the admission in old iits or nits. for iits iit delhi, iit bombay, iit kharagpur, iit kanpur, iisc bangalore these are best acoording to placements. for nits placement scnerio is not good. as you have to fight with the btech students during placements. and most of the companies give priority to btech students as they dont have enough position in their company for a  mtech passed candidate. how ever you can consider nit trichy, surathkel for mtech in mechanical engineering.
