• NIOS Stream-1 is available to all learners online (24/7) throughout the entire year.
• NIOS Stream-2 is designated for learners who have attempted but did not pass the Public Examination at the Secondary or Senior Secondary level from any recognized Board.
• NIOS Stream-3 is continuously available for learners who have attempted but failed the Public Examination at the Secondary level from any recognized Board and wish to take the On Demand Examination System (ODES) of NIOS specifically for the Secondary level.
• NIOS Stream-4 is open to learners who have attempted but did not succeed in the Public Examination at the Senior Secondary level from any recognized Board, as well as those who have already completed Senior Secondary or higher examinations from recognized Boards or Universities.

Stream 1:for all learners/freshers.Admission is open in 2blocks in a year.

Stream 2:for unsuccessful /failures of recognized board to appear in October Exam to save one year.

Stream 3:for unsuccessful /failures of recognized board to appear in Online Demand Examination at Secondary Level

Stream4:for unsuccessful /failures of recognized board to appear in Online Demand Examination at Senior Secondary level.
