If you want to be an MBA , then I don't need to tell you the advantages as the only advantage is that this exam helps you to get a good B School for MBA. 

If you don't want to be an MBA , Then this exam is useless for you .

The top colleges in India take up CAT as their eligiblity criteria for the admission in MBA or PGDM.
