As you mentioned the range of marks which 100-150 ,I would like to tell you that there will be a lot of difference in the colleges if you get 100-110 marks and if you get 140-150 marks.
So, in 100-110 you percentile would somewhat around 94.5-95 and in this percentile your rank would be somewhat around 60k and so according to previous year cut off if I consider you as a general category , you have good chances to get bit mesra and that the branch would be chemical, production and other lower branches. In nits you would get a bit of lower nits like Meghalaya, arunachal Pradesh,Nagaland,Srinagar.

For range of 140-150 marks, you will get set of nits which includes Jamshedpur,jalandhar,Silchar,durgapur.
