Hello Tanmay, As per your query i would like to tell you,
If you are just focusing towards board exams then just read NCERT and for refernce you can read Pradeep and H. C. Verma for Physics and for Chemistry Pradeep and Dinesh publications were pretty good for self study.

O.P. Agarwal Was a pretty good reference book for school level chemistry.

If youre interested in more detailed study, you can refer the individual books on Organic, Inorganic and physical chemistry by Arihant Prakashan.

Just stick to least number of books and must complete NCERT atleast twice.

• The answer to this question depends on what are you preparing to do after class 12. Are you appearing for JEE or NEET or are you going to do graduation courses like BBA, BCA, BSc

• If you want to do courses like BBA, BCA, BSc, then reading NCERT textbooks chapters is more than sufficient.

• If you want to appear in NEET, then go through NCERT textbooks and solve all the questions given in the end.
