Cavitation is formation and collapsing of bubble or cavity in a liquid developedin the area which have relatively low pressure around the pump impeller

Most common cause of cavitation are :

Rapid dropping in the pressure at the suction notion

Unwanted flow conditions

Uneven increased of the pumped liquid temperature

High fluid velocity at the suction pump..
