There are mainly four different forms of discourse generally used such as- Description, Narration, Exposition, and Argumentation.

Exposition has many supporting and clarifying modes of discourse. This is the first of the four traditional modes of discourse. Description and narration refers to describe one event which the other does not know in his own words. argumentation can be referred as providing certain proof and facts to justify your statement and make it optimal.
