Electrical engineering and electronics and communication engineering is two branches having various subjects in common and so considered as almost same but electrical engineering has machines, study of power system and so makes it a branch which works mostly outside the room. For ECE they work on electronics so mostly they work inside room. Syllabus of electrical engineering is considered tough with respect to other branches. ECE studies regarding Analog in details also they study microprocessor in detail.
