Dear Aspirant,
First of all congratulations on getting such a high percentile. You have great opportunities to be a part of the best engineering Colleges in the country.
Let me explain to you how percentile is calculated:
Percentile of a student=
( Number of students who scored marks less than you in the shift that you gave examination/ total number of students who gave the exam in your shift) * 100.
So you can see that here percentile and rank is what matters the most and marks not so much when you have scored such a high percentile.
