There are many exams other than jee Mains & Advanced through which you can get good colleges. There is no other way of getting IIT'S for undergraduate program , you must give jee advanced for getting IIT'S.
Here are the name of exams which you can give:
1.BITSAT: Through this exam you will be getting Bits campuses Pilani, Goa etc.
2.WBJEE: Entrance exam to enter engineering colleges present in state of West Bengal(Colleges are Jadavpur university ,Iem etc. are best colleges through this exam)
3.CUSAT : Entrance exam for getting Cochin university of science & Technology,Kerela(A centrally funded college also it is a government college).
4.Vit entrance exam : Entrance exam to get campuses vit , there are total 3 campuses of vit present in all over India now...
5.Srm entrance exam : Entrance for getting Srm university's campuses
6.Comedk : Entrance exam to enter private engineering colleges of Karnataka(Colleges like Rv,Msrit,BMSIT are  the best colleges through this entrance exam)
7.You can also appear for your state entrance exam.Every state has it's own entrance exam and also there will be a home state quota for students too...
