Dear aspirant,

The minimum passing marks of a candidate in UPSEE across all exams (B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Arch/ B.Des/ BHMCT/ B.F.A/ M.B.A/ M.C.A) vary as per the category of the candidate.

The minimum passing marks for each category are as follows:

  1. General- 25% of the total marks
  2. OBC- 25% of the total marks
  3. SC- 20% of the total marks
  4. ST- 20% of the total marks

It should be understood clearly that clearing the cutoff in UPSEE does not guarantee admission to any college. The candidates must appear in UPSEE counseling and will be alloted seats as per the final merit list.

Hello aspirant,

The qualifying cutoff for UPSEE is decided on the basis of difficulty level of exam, no. of seats available, previous years cutoff trends.
The qualifying cutoff marks in UPSEE is decided on the basis of the caste-
  • General- 25 %
  • Other backward castes(OBC)- 25%
  • SC- 20%
  • ST- 25%

All the candidates scoring equal or above the mentioned cutoff score will qualify the exam.
