There are not many problems which are faced by the ECE department Alone.These are the disadvantages in general regarding many of the reviews given by the students at Amrita University.

Placements : The placements are bad for our batch. Out of 210 mechanical students, only 20 students got core jobs. The placement cell aims at making 100% placements but fails to give core job to its students. We took mechanical engineering to work in a mechanical company, which didn't accomplish. The computer science department is also regarding placements.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure is below average. Water is a big problem in this university. They cut water very often in a day. They even give holidays and force students to leave hostels to escape water scarcity. Labs are good, and washrooms are the real problem. The classrooms are well-maintained.

Faculty : This is the only good aspect of this college. The curriculum is very good, and the faculty are friendly. They help us very much. They charge a lot of fees just to pay these faculty members. They are reasonably worth that. The curriculum is one of the best things in the country. ( closest to IITs and NITs)

Other : The mess is a great drawback. They provide only veg foods. Very often, insects are found in the food served. The fee is also very high for an engineering college, i.e., 3 lakhs/year. The climate and environment of the college is phenomenal. They provide us with the best college atmosphere. This college comes with a lot of drawbacks.
