• RNA Polymerase 1 - 5.8S , 18S , 28S rRNA synthesis
• RNA Polymerase 2 - hnRNA (heterogenous nuclear RNA) synthesis
• RNA Polymerase 3 - tRNA, ScRNA, 5S rRNA and SnRNA(small nuclear RNA synthesis)

Nascent RNA synthesized by RNA polymerase 2 is called hnRNA or primary transcript. Contains both introns and exons alternately.
