After clearing GATE Exam In ECE, with a Good Rank/Score you may pursue Postgraduation from Higher Technical Institutes like Top IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani as well as Top State Engineering Colleges. You may even use GATE Score to pursue MS/PhD in Electronics from some of the Top International Universities like NUS Singapore, NTU Singapore, RWTH Aachen or TU Munich.

You may even use your GATE Score for PSU Recruitment. Most of the Top PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, BEL, GAIL, SAIL, IOCL, BEML, HAL as well as those in Public Research Sector like BARC, DRDO or ISRO have openings for Electronics Branches.
